Ben Gvir™

Student project • 2024 • instructed by Avihai Mizrahi

We received a brief to design a protest and I chose to focus on the rise in gun ownership in Israel, following policies pushed by Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir. Since the start of the war, he has eased access to weapons - even as experts warned of the risks, including rising domestic violence.

The visual design feels slightly futuristic, yet close enough to our present to suggest a near future that’s dangerously within reach. This aesthetic choice is meant to make viewers confront the potential reality we’re heading toward.

All the work was based on thorough research. Each design element includes facts and sources, ensuring the message is not only powerful but also grounded in truth.

Participated in 2 exhibitions: Vitrina Gallery, Er.a "Business as Usual".

Posters

At first glance, you see an image suggesting that a weapon can be purchased for the purpose of murder. When the viewer, shocked, looks closer, they can read the facts underlying the image and understand how we might reach this reality.
